Life for a commoner in 16th century England was violent, dirty, smelly, and overall quite dangerous. Even popular recreational activities came with the threat of death and dismemberment. Life was good for King Henry VIII, however, as he had an army of servants attending to his every need.

"True Facts from Tudor England" is a series of viral spots promoting the second season of the Showtime series "The Tudors". The Showtime web team created an interactive Tudor village based on Mixtape Club's designs to showcase the animations. Each story is based on a real fact provided by the historical consultant for the series.
